I make this stew all the time but I make it in the pressure cooker instead and we eat it with rice or baked bread. It’s become a staple because its so tasty!

My stew didn’t get this dark colour as yours. Wha could it be? I followed the recipe. And the meat was nice and browned. I noticed I got a lot of “ flour “ on the bottom of the pan. Not sure if this was supposed to happen.

Good morning! I made this pork stew over polenta last night for my daughter and son-law, mamma Mia! It was outstanding on a cold evening Reno. That is the first time I ever used pork in a stew but it won’t be the last time. I followed the recipe exactly as written, it is a winner. I love your blog, thank you so much.
